Certificates of Deposit

The Peoples Bank offers a wide range of flexible investment CD options. By purchasing a CD, you can guarantee a fixed rate for a specific period of time. We have quoted rates of interest and you can choose various maturities up to 84 months. The minimum amount required to purchase a CD is $500.00. On any CD over $100,000.00, the rate is higher with the exception of any special CD promotions. Federal Law requires that a substantial penalty be placed on early withdrawals.

The Peoples Bank offers many different IRA's with an initial deposit of as little as $500.00. Please consult your tax advisor for your eligibility. You may schedule an appointment to meet with our IRA representative at your convenience.
